Proper care helps your custom curtains maintain their beauty, functionality, and performance for many years. Below you will find comprehensive care instructions and our warranty policy.

1. General Care Guidelines

• Regular Maintenance: Gently vacuum your curtains every 1–2 weeks using a soft brush attachment to remove dust.
• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Use sheer liners or close curtains during peak sunlight hours to prevent fading.
• Humidity & Heat: Keep curtains away from direct heat sources (radiators, AC vents blowing hot air).
• Handling: Always handle curtains with clean hands. Lift rather than pull when opening/closing.
• Motorized Systems: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for remote/app operation. Do not force movement.

3. Professional Cleaning Recommendations

We recommend professional cleaning once every 12–18 months depending on environmental conditions (dust levels, humidity, pets, etc.).

• Inform the cleaner that the curtains are custom-made with possibly layered fabrics or blackout linings.
• For motorized curtains, remove the fabric from tracks (if possible) before cleaning or have professionals handle on-site.

4. Warranty Details

PremierCurtain.ae stands behind the quality of our products and workmanship.

Warranty Period:

• Workmanship & Installation: 1 Year from date of installation.
• Fabric & Materials: 1 Year against manufacturing defects (some premium fabrics may carry longer manufacturer warranties – please check your order documents).

What is Covered:

• Manufacturing defects in fabric or stitching.
• Issues with tracks, rods, or motorized mechanisms under normal use.
• Installation faults (e.g., improper fixing leading to falling hardware).

What is NOT Covered:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by improper cleaning or self-installation
• Fading due to sunlight exposure
• Damage from pets, children, or accidents
• Shrinkage or color change due to improper washing
• Damage caused by force majeure events

5. Common Problems & Solutions

Problem: Curtains not hanging straight

Solution: Allow 2–4 weeks for fabric to “drop” and settle. Our team can realign if needed.

Problem: Fading or discoloration

Solution: Use UV-protective window films or additional sheer curtains. Rotate curtains periodically.

Problem: Motorized curtains not responding

Solution: Check power supply, batteries in remote, and ensure no obstructions. Contact us for support.

Problem: Dust accumulation

Solution: Regular vacuuming. Consider adding a top pelmet or valance for better protection.

Problem: Lining separating

Solution: Professional repair. Covered under warranty if within the first year and not due to improper care.
